#quickstart #bizdev_utils #pe_utils #smb ## Overview Juggling multiple accounts of the same type can be frustrating. (For example, if you have 5 Office365 accounts which you access every day, or 3 Facebook accounts, etc.) Typically, having many accounts of the same type means individuals must log out and log back into the same account multiple times a day. Fortunately, there is a FireFox extension which handles this nicely: [Firefox Containers](https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/multi-account-containers/). Simply put, a 'container' is like opening a new browser something. This way the cookies from the 'container' you are in don't spill over into the other containers. This has obvious privacy benefits, but is also super helpful when you need to be logged into the same account in multiple places. As a result, one can create a unique container for each account they frequently use, and by using those containers, be logged into the same account in multiple places (think Facebook account 1, Facebook account 2, etc.) ## Setup The setup is fairly easy, and is well documented in the [How to use Firefox containers](https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/how-use-firefox-containers) guide. To get started quickly: 1. Install Firefox (the extension only runs on Firefox) 2. Install the container extension 3. Pin the container icon to your navbar (optional) 4. Click on the container icon 5. Click manage containers 6. Click add new container 7. Name the container (e.g O365 - company A, 0365 - company B, etc) 8. Add an icon or color if you want 9. Click save Repeat this process for each container you want to use. Then when you want to visit a site (e.g. O365,), when you click on the new tab icon you'll see a dropdown asking if you want to open that tab in a container (and if so, which one). Click the container you want and log in. You can then do the same for other containers. You'll notice that if you close the browser tab for the container you are in, and then reopen it, it will have saved your session.
